How to Start Playing

Create Account

Register on the L2Start website to play on online servers.

Download Launcher

Download L2Launcher.exe — it will install and configure the full client automatically.

Place Launcher

Put L2Launcher.exe into your Interlude client folder (next to system\) or an empty folder (the launcher will download the client itself, ~6.1 GB).

Run and Configure

Start the launcher, choose language and server (L2Start or Local server). Wait for file check and download.

Play

Press Play in the launcher. Enjoy the game!

Running Local Server

To play offline, you need to run the L2Start Local server component on your PC. Two options available: GitHub Release (zip archive) or Docker image.

Download the latest release from GitHub (l2start-server.zip). Installation instructions in the repository README.

Docker Image (GHCR)

ghcr.io/gleb-stasuyk/l2start-server:0.1.0 — Docker image for local server. Requires Docker on your PC.

Pull image:

docker pull ghcr.io/gleb-stasuyk/l2start-server:0.1.0

Run:

Note: Choosing 'Local server' in the launcher only switches the client to connect to 127.0.0.1. You must run the server component separately (see above).
